I have been digging J.Lo's newest effort, Love?, and the bumpin' track "Starting Over" is just one of the many highlights. - Mikey

your last daydream is slowly unreeling

The music currently playing over and over again in my iPod (and over and over again in my head) is the album "Belong" by The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. The mood it conjures resides perfectly in the space between gorgeous and gloomy. Almost like The Cure. In short - definitely give them a try.

One of my favorite songs, which brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it, is "The Body," and its video is equally magnificent.

footsteps even lighter

You know you're over-stressed when a dance number makes you so happy you start crying. Clearly, I'm a mess - but hey, the staged flash mob that caps the global flash mobs throughout Kelly Clarkson's new video is great nonetheless. Thank you Kelly, for bringing a little sunshine.

head banging

Conceived and shot in two days with only one take, this "bonus" video to promote the All-American Rejects upcoming studio album uses the cinematic toolbox to play with perspective simply and ingeniously.

lock your doors

Impeccable direction from Alex Prager, stunning visuals by cinematographer Ross Richardson, and out-of-this-world acting from some of Hollywood's best make these glimpses of cinematic villainy unlike anything you've ever seen. I intended to watch just one - and then couldn't look away.
